MyLab has no servers. Your data never leaves your device.
MyLab requires no account, no email, and no phone number. There is no registration and no login to a server. You install the app and start working immediately — we never ask for or collect your identity.
All of your records — materials, formulas, batches, products, inventory, customers, invoices, expenses, and income — are stored in a local database on your device only. We operate no cloud servers, and your business data is never uploaded, synced, or transmitted to us or anyone else.
MyLab works entirely offline. It contains no advertisements, no analytics SDKs, and no third-party trackers. Because there is no backend, there is simply nowhere for your activity to be sent or profiled.
You can optionally protect MyLab with a 4-digit PIN or biometric unlock. This credential is stored securely on your device using the operating system's encrypted storage (Android Keystore / iOS Keychain) and never leaves the device.
The optional camera permission is used solely to scan product and material barcodes on your device. The image is processed instantly on-device to read the code and is never saved or transmitted. We do not access your photo library, location, microphone, or contacts.
The optional Backup feature exports your local database to a destination you choose through your device's own file picker. You control these backup files entirely — store them, move them, or delete them as you wish. We never see, receive, or have any access to them.
Premium is a subscription (monthly or yearly) purchased through Google Play Billing, or unlocked with an offline redeem code. Google processes the payment and any renewals — we never see or store your card number, bank details, or any financial information. Redeem codes are validated entirely on-device.
Because everything lives on your device, you have complete control: deleting a record removes it, and uninstalling the app erases all your data. Questions about this policy? Reach a human at mylab@compilerz.net.
